Want to leave your kids? (We won’t judge). It can be hard, especially when it’s your first time. Depending on the age, traveling without your kids can be difficult on both you and your children. We talk about our very different experiences and how we coped (and helped our kids cope).
We also wander off to the usual geeky topics. This week includes an exploration of Doctor Who, where I reveal once again how I remember a thing, but not the details. And when talking about Dad 2.0 Summit, I talk about meeting Rhys Darby, who was a guest on Dax Sheppard’s podcast which was recorded at the end of the summit. I called it “Exploding Armchair”.
My defense is that I’m terrible with names, and I confused James Breakwell’s Exploding Unicorn comedy and Dax Sheppard’s Armchair Expert. Ryhs was a guest for Dax’s podcast. Exploding Armchair might be a pretty cool comedy series, though.
Otherwise, we have a spoiler-free talk about Captain Marvel, the nutritional deficiencies of Batman, and other things.

In case you missed the launch or previous episodes, Tangential Parenting is a podcast featuring Rachel from Starship Suburbia and me. We’re getting better at this thing, I promise.
