We’re finally back in the studio.
It might be because neither of us is employed any longer. It’s all about passion projects!
Or more specifically, we talk about my transition to at-home dad life. It’s also been a long time since we last recorded, so I might have had a little too much goofiness to get out of my system.
There is a lot talk about, but we gently approach the conversation about being the one guy at the playground. I haven’t had many experiences with it, mostly because it would also require me to leave the house more frequently with the boys. But there are a lot of stories from other dads who have experiences being excluded at the park.
Otherwise, I blame the weather for our lack of exploration outside of the house, but we all know it’s just because I’m lazy. It might also be due to the fact there are two of the same age, and getting the out the door is a real PITA.
We also discuss teaching consent, how it starts at a young age, and how it gets harder from there.

In case you missed the launch or previous episodes, Tangential Parenting is a podcast featuring Rachel from Starship Suburbia and me. We’re getting better at this thing, I promise.
