Eric grew a beard over the winter, and recently shaved for a new look. This bothers Rachel so much that she declares that we are in a mirror universe, which Eric mistakes for a Community reference. Things go downhill from there.
Technically this episode was supposed to be about cooking with your kids, but the conversation had different ideas. Instead, we touch on many different topics that run the gamut from other parenting to 6 year old fangirls and 60 year old celebrity bakers.
Other topics this week include the weather, Sci-Fi vs. Fantasy, Star Trek books, the Great British Bake Off/Baking Show, lutefisk, and getting kids in the kitchen. This show is a good example of how parenting causes you to develop an attention span similar to that of your toddlers or school-age kids.

In case you missed the launch or previous episodes, Tangential Parenting is a podcast featuring Rachel from Starship Suburbia and me. We’re getting better at this thing, I promise.
